Decisions

What is the issue in this case?

The issue in this case is a few of the students are anxious about a literature exam. on top of the exam, another teacher is planning on giving a big class presentation the same day. the students feel overwhelmed, and one of the male students suggest changing the teacher's computer password. But the student does not have time to do so, so he writes down the instructions and gives them to his female classmate by the name of Cindy. But Cindy does not feel comfortable with doing this.

If Cindy changed the password, would that be wrong? why/why not?

If Cindy changed the teacher's password, this would be very wrong for many reasons. First it will keep the other students from learning the material. Also it is not her password to change so she should leave it alone because she can get into a lot of trouble. Lastly, she should not allow her "friends" peer pressure her into doing things she is not comfortable with.

  1. Do important people in your life talk with you about the dangers of certain online behavior
At the age I am now, no one speaks to me about the dangers of online behavior. It was already instilled in me at a young age through workshops at school and from my parents at home.

     2. Do young people fully understand the consequences of their online activity? why or why not?

I believe young people around my age know the risks and consequences of their online activity because it is broad casted everywhere. For example, if a teenager is cyber bullying, they know the consequences because there are new found laws against that. So therefore, there is no excuse.
